Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Java developer responsible for building Java applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop the applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

EXPERIENCE: 

2-7 Years

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Java, JEE, Servlets, XML, Web services, ATG, Endeca, Microservices

SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • A knack for writing clean, readable Java code
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Spring, Hibernate, EJB, etc
  • Experienced with advanced JAVA concepts like SERVLETS, JSP
  • Sound knowledge of Web Services (REST and SOAP) and XML
  • Top-notch knowledge about Application Server (Jboss, Weblogic, Websphere, etc and experience in working a big clustered environment.
  • Familiarity with Database (SQL, Oracle DB, etc )
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and REST
  • Comfortable working with UNIX OS.
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce domain is an added advantage. e.g.,Experience in working in any one of the e-commerce framework like Oracle Commerce (ATG and Endeca), Demandware, Hybris
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proven working experience in Core Java and JEE development
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Willingness to work on both front-end and back-end of the project
  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes.
  • Transform requirements into stipulations and identify production and non-production application issues
