EDUCATION PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Technical Architect of Demandware, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design schema, implement Demandware extensions, design and create a product catalog hierarchy and integrate with content management systems and search engines, unlocking the business value of Demandware.
You will independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.
Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Demandware.
Design and Develop features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social e-commerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, Reviews, Tax etc.
Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and Demandware implementation.
Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for e-commerce solutions and articulate business needs in terms of DW Business Manager Configuration.
Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation.
Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
Should lead 15 to 17 members and mentor the team members.
Ensuring application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
Should be able to own end-to-end project technical delivery of 2 to 3 projects.
Should take ownership in delivering quality products not only for myself but also for the team.
Should be able to design solutions and document specification documents.
Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module.
Knowledge of controllers and SFRA is a must.
Participating in SLA and Go Live activities.
Ability to work on cross-platforms/frameworks.
Contributing efforts towards solutions & assets.
Participating in presale activities.
Holding full force knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
Mastery of e-commerce implementation specifically on the Demandware platform.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases and building script
Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS-based cloud servers.
Understanding of all Administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.
Knowledge of the concepts of price and inventory, and worked with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for these projects.
Experience in the design and development of third-party (backend) integration.
Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS without help.
Expert of SiteGenesis & SFRA, DOM structure, jQuery event handling, and frontend third-party integrations.
Demonstrated consistent excellence in applying this competency across multiple projects and/or organizations.
Ensuring application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
